Tromso, Norway was not a place I’d heard of until my husband suggested we go there. The whole point of going was to see the Northern Lights.
Christ can increase your capacity to do good, He can heal hearts, He can ease pain, He can cause the troubled mind to rest, He can do so many things for us if we will allow Him to.
If a flashlight or candle were a living thing, would it recognize its own light? Do you recognize YOUR own light?
Did you ever think about how light warms up spaces and makes them feel cheery? Yet light doesn’t need anything to make it happy, it just is happy, or brings happiness, on its own.
The ability of light to bring happiness and good feelings to a room and to a heart makes me think of many of the women I know who have the same ability.
Let’s take a lesson from the beauty of light and let some things bounce! Let it go. You may need to clear some good things, and even some better things, in order to make room for the best things.
Then came the sweet merciful impression that my mortal and fallen body, [my vessel] that experienced the great depths of depression, was also NOT designed to fail. I was designed and created in the image of God and my body was meant to successfully take my own soul to the promised land of God’s salvation and exaltation.
