…Even though each trial that comes my way begins with a feeling of being forgotten, through the words of Isaiah and other prophets, I am reminded that I am never really forgotten and never truly alone.
It is vital for all of us to realize that just because we have strong faith and courage at one point does not make us exempt from the enticing of Satan and his followers for the rest of our lives.
There is and always will be pain that is part of life, but we can find peace, hope and strength to persevere. I believe those gifts come when we can find an eternal perspective and purpose to apply to the challenges we are facing.
When I only view life through the lens of “right now,” it is often perceived as unfair. [But] as we have the promise and hope of all our tears being wiped away, so can the pain and grief that accompanies unfairness be wiped away through redemptive experiences and lessons from God.
