In the mid-1980’s I was a kindergartener with a yellow and orange beaded jump rope. That jump rope came with me in my backpack to school and out to the recess yard, to friends’ houses on playdates (except we didn’t call them that in the ’80s). My friends and I would jump together chanting rhymes and songs. I enjoyed challenging myself with new tricks and stunts. I loved to jump rope.
Last week I found a jump rope at Target and thought of my kindergartener at home. I realized she didn’t own a jump rope. I purchased it and presented it to her.
She was thrilled to see that it had LED lights and was her favorite color. She tried it out. It was awkward. She then asked me “Mom, will you teach me to jump rope.”
My heart soared and my eyes filled with tears as I realized I was about to have a full-circle moment. I was about to teach my “mini-me” something I loved to do at her age.
I feel God’s love deeply when I experience full circle moments. It is His way of saying to me. “I see you. I know you. I love you.”

God speaks to each of us personally. He does it one by one and one on one. How one person hears and feels His love differs by the individual.
How and when do you feel and experience God’s love?
What does God’s love feel like to you?
Once you have answered these questions you will be able to identify God’s love and feel it more often. Once you know what you are looking for it becomes easier to find.
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Matthew 7:11
I have sought to know how God speaks to me by asking Him. He has drawn my attention to the perfect ways He speaks to me and how He expresses His love to me. He gives me gifts every day that are just for me. Gifts that are personal and only for me. He gives me perfect gifts because he knows me perfectly.
What gifts has He given to you today?
