When you get up every morning—what are the thoughts you begin to put on regarding you? Are they kind and loving thoughts that serve you or are they negative and judgmental? Often we think thoughts about how we are lacking, how we are not doing enough and that we just don’t have enough time to do “all the things in order to feel happy and content. We don’t have to do more to feel happy or content, we just need to begin to put on new thoughts and it will change everything.

“I accept myself unconditionally, right now” are power words I want to suggest you begin to put on.  The Word Effect found in this simple phrase, I accept myself unconditionally, right now is life-changing!  I know this because I have experienced it myself and want to share them with you. When we “put on” or think about thoughts over and over again they become the stories we believe.

It is easy for our human brain to focus on the negative and fall into the compare and despair game.  I love to offer the idea that we can experience a joyful life despite the circumstances we cannot control.  Acceptance is the 3rd power word in The Word Effect and it is a gamechanger.

As I practice putting on the power word of acceptance and that I am enough right now–I have found other power phrases that have been so beneficial to keep my focus looking up and out.

Eckhart Tolle said, “Accept then act…whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.  Always work with it, not against it, this will miraculously transform your life.”

The power words “I accept myself unconditionally, right now,” allow me to accept what is and act as if I have chosen it.  This allows me to not suffer as much and find the good in what is.

Before I discovered these words, I had stopped accepting myself unconditionally–because I had fallen into the negativity bias of life.  My mind was always trying to show me what wasn’t going well in life instead of focusing on what was amazing right in front of me.

As we look for the good—we will begin to see the good around us.  Even though we are not perfect, you and I are enough just the way we are. Check out episode 30 on The Word Effect Podcast, where I will give more ideas and thoughts about the power of the words, “I accept myself unconditionally, right now.”

Words Matter!
