Does your kiddo love animals? Mine too! Does your kiddo love looking at classic artwork from different genres, time periods, and painters from around the world?….eeeerrrrr, yeah, not so much.

Animals in Art by Sabrina Hahn is a great way to introduce art by famous artists from around the world and throughout time. One of the things I really like is that they choose some great painters, but aren’t really showing their “best known” works. There’s no pressure to identify the painting or to know what era it represents. You might recognize a few names, but you’ll enjoy seeing some of their lesser-known pieces. And if you don’t know any of the artists in the book, neither does your kid and you’ll get to explore together!

The book is broken down by the alphabetical animal names, so you know they’ll love it! If you’re homeschooling, especially with different age groups, you could turn this into a cool exercise where your older kiddos could lookup works by some of the artists!
